Followed the instructions from the Developer Community to delete and reinstall Mono.I had Visual Studio 2019 (v16.11.2) on Windows and it didn’t pair with the Mac (“Bad CPU type in executable” error).

Installed the macOS updates (after installation, the OS version was 11.5.2).

Installed the latest Visual Studio for Mac after downloading from their website (v8.10.8 at the time of writing).

Downloaded and installed the latest Xcode from App Store (v12.5.1 at the time of writing).
